We always like to go there. The food is varied and good. Good Bavarian cuisine and the price is right too. The staff is also very friendly despite the large number of people.

The staff is very friendly and you are served quickly. There were two of us here and they both ordered the pork knuckle, which can be highly recommended, was very tasty and large. Also what you could see what comes out of the kitchen are very large portions for little money. When I come back to Oberstdorf, I'll be looking forward to dining here again.

Very good kitchen, very nice service. Not much is possible without a reservation, which is not surprising. Very good price / performance ratio.

The food, a pork knuckle with bread dumplings and coleslaw was ok. The meat was tender, the crust is crispier, bread dumplings are good, the coleslaw can use a lot more seasoning. Conditions were a bit snappy at the beginning, but improved significantly over time.

Very nice rustic restaurant. Food delicious, were also quickly prepared. Service nice and friendly. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for about 1 hour because the seats were reserved afterwards. It was strange that we also wanted to reserve in advance and were told by phone that we should just come over, since a reservation would not be possible. But since several tables were reserved during our visit, this is possible. Therefore only 4 stars because of the wrong information. But I'll be happy to come back and recommend you.

It's a super nice place to enjoy your food and drink. The service is very friendly and the food was brought fresh to the table within 15 minutes. The food (pork knuckle, Käsespätzle, Oberstdorfer culinary delight) were delicious. We would have regretted not eating or drinking here.

Good food, nice service. A good place to eat in Oberstdorf. It is traditionally decorated, probably still unchanged from the 80s. It has a cozy charm and directly reminded me of it when I was in Bavaria as a child. This is not a fancy restaurant, but tasty and cozy.

The service was really nice. Good homemade liqueurs. The food came to the table very quickly. It was fine, but could be expanded. Was warmed up. Economy for home cooking, but nothing more.

Unfortunately not worth a star. Food was not homemade. Spätzle and cheese simply bought ready, I also imagine the baked schnitzel differently. The prices are unfortunately too high for this quality! But praise to the wait staff, they were very friendly and attentive!

It was a good place to eat if you are hungry, but onestly not the best one. Service was very nice, but food.. Mmm not that good. For my taste. But if you are looking to eat traditionally, this is the place.

Basic food.. unfriendly, bad service and we got booted out rather directly at 21:30. No credit cards... Lots of better places to eat in town. Stay clear.

Closes at 21h30 and unpolitely asks you to leave at 21h. Go somewhere else in this lovely town

The food was delicious and the service was nice and fast. It is always a pleasure to come here.

Just off the main drag, we came with the promise of Kaiserschmarrn and Käsespätzle, which we enjoyed quite a lot! I'd say the käsespätzle was about a 6.5/10 compared to some others we had during our time in the area, but still was pretty good. It was my first time having Kaiserschmarrn, but was quite good! A bit too sweet for my tastes (with syrup, icing sugar, and sweet applesauce with it), but overall a good experience.

Good traditional Barvarian food, at a good price..very busy this time of year

the waitress we had didn't seem too thrilled to help us, and took her time walking around, I asked for a kids chair and she told me to have a look inside and see if there was one available, I guess waiting a table isn't what it used to be, or my expectations are just too high... The food was ok.
